HOWTOSTAGEYOURHOMELIKEAPRO You don’t need to pay for a professional stager to have your home appeal to potential buyers. Become your own stager by following these three D’s: depersonalize, declutter and decorate for all. First, pack up family photos, souvenirs from your travels, knick-knacks and any personal artwork. Buyers want to be
able to picture themselves in a home, and they can’t do that when it still feels like it belongs to you. Next, start decluttering. Clear the kitchen countertops of small appliances and downsize the amount of clothes in your closets. If you have a lot of furniture, move
some of it into storage so that rooms feel bigger. And for the last step – add small decor touches that everyone can appreciate. Faux flowers in a simple vase, a few soft
throw pillows, or a bowl full of apples go a long way to make a house feel like a home.
