Matte black fixtures are popular as well as ones that have a modern farmhouse or simple industrial vibe. As for staging, store small appliances in the cabinets and try and keep the countertops mostly clear. For viewings, add a bowl of crisp apples or some fresh flowers and make sure the sink and counters are sparkling.
