POPULAR PAINT COLOURS TO TRY THIS SUMMER Summer is a great time to repaint

your interior whether you’re planning on selling or just want an update. During the warmer months, you can throw open the windows, spend a few hours rolling, then head outside for some fresh air. But what

colours should you choose? Here are a few of the most popular options from well-known paint brand Benjamin Moore. If needed, you can also take their samples to any other paint store and have them matched! • Chantilly Lace. Benjamin Moore’s whitest white, it ’s clean, crisp and pure. • Swiss Coffee. A soft white with a yellow undertone and a hint of green. • Boothbay Gray. A dark, cool gray with quite a bit of a blue undertone. • Manchester Tan. Has a passive yellow undertone with just a wink of green. • Hawthorne Yellow. A bold, yet balanced yellow from Benjamin Moore’s Historical Collection. • Hale Navy. A saturated, rich navy blue that looks just as beautiful on cabinetry as it does on the wall.

INGREDIENTS : 3 ears of corn 1 (4-ounce) can black beans, drained 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped 1/2 small red onion, chopped 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh basil, chopped 3 tbsp mayonnaise 1 tbsp white vinegar 1 tbsp stone ground mustard 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp sugar 2 tsp poppy seeds 1/4 tsp sea salt, to taste

DIRECTIONS: 1. Remove the husks of corn. Fill large pot 3/4 with water and bring to boil. Turn off heat, add corn. Cover and cook until tender, about 10 minutes. Transfer corn to cutting board and let cool. Then cut kernels off of cob. 2. Add beans, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions and basil to large serving bowl. 3. In blender, add mayonnaise, white vinegar, mustard, olive oil, sugar and poppy seeds. Blend until smooth and well combined. 4. Add fully cooled corn to the bowl, followed by the dressing and toss. Salt to taste. Serve and enjoy!

FOUR PACKING TIPS FOR PLANNING A MOVE Planning a move? Feeling overwhelmed? That ’s pretty much to be expected! But moving doesn’t have to be super stressful. Just follow these four tips to make the process go smoothly. 1. Take inventory of all your belongings. You don’t have to make a physical list of everything you own, but it ’s important to take note mentally. Moving is the best time to purge – consider donating items you don’t use, love or need. 2. Make sure you have everything you need before you start packing. This includes blankets to protect furniture, stackable waterproof bins for smaller items and blank labels to keep track of what ’s in each box. 3. Pack each room according to its specific needs . Your kitchen and garage are the bigger jobs and it ’s best to tackle them early on. Make sure not to pack anything that won’t have a place in your new home.

4. Be methodical when it’s time to unpack. Resist the urge to just open the first box you see and go at it. First, put each box into the room it belongs. Next, unpack anything perishable followed by the things you need for daily life. Once all of the important tasks are done, allow yourself to rest and give yourself a pat on the back – you did it!
