FALL ADVENTURES IN BEAUTIFUL BC This season, I traded open houses for alpine views—at least for a day! One of my favourite fall moments so far was hiking Frosty Mountain in Manning Park. If you’ve ever wondered whether golden larches are worth the journey… they absolutely are.

The trail winds from quiet, misty old growth forest into glowing alpine meadows, all leading to breathtaking views from the summit. And when I say we experienced every kind of weather—hail, rain, snow, wind, sun, repeat!—I mean it. But that’s all part of the magic up there. Frosty is a challenge (23 km round-trip and over 1,300 m of elevation gain!), but standing at the peak as the clouds parted and the valley full of golden larches opened up made every step worth it. Fall in BC is such a special time—cool mornings, changing colours, and endless trails to explore. If you’ve been looking for an excuse to get outside and soak in this season, consider this your sign. Whether I’m helping clients find their place here or breathing in fresh alpine air on a mountain trail, I’m reminded daily how lucky we are to call this incredible province home.
